Default Sub Upgrade from Polk PSW10 ???

I have gotten the bug to upgrade my sound system again! I recently upgraded my center to a Polk CS2 from a Polk CS1. Now I want to get a little nicer sub. Here is my present 7.1 setup:

Polk Monitor 50 (left, right)
Polk CS2 (center)
Polk Monitor 30 (four total for the rears)
Polk PSW10 (sub)
Onkyo tx-sr606

I only spent about $100 on the Polk PSW10 sub new, so a reasonable upgrade for me is about $200-$300. I can purchase used or refurbished too. I am the type who likes incremental improvements so I am not looking to spend much more than my budget will allow.

Thanks in advance.

Matthew

This is what you want. Best sub in it's price range. I own one and cannot say enough good things about it.

Sell your sub and get some money back. Then get the eD A2-300, like Jason said. I have one and think it's a great subwoofer, especially for the price.

I plan to do this, but the $300 ceiling already includes the money I would get from the sale.

Edit: After looking at the link, I can probably pull this off. Will I still use the audio coax from the receiver to the sub? Will I connect this sub differently that the one I presently have? I need to know what if any other cables I will need to purchase.

eD a2-300! By a long shot - I'll be the third to highly recommend it, even though I don't own it like Jason.

And your wire is fine,

The next obvious question, is where to find this at the lowest price.

Decide how much money you want to spend and then go through this List of Almost All Subwoofer Manufacturers.

Thanks for the generic post. If you read the original post I specify a budget. by the way if you want to search the web for something:

www.yahoo.com
www.google.com

Edit: I know you are just trying to be helpful, but I guess I resent posts that don't help. I suppose this one I am making now could be classified as such.

I bet that a2-300 already smashed it to pieces. Good thing you hid it well,

Here is a pic of my setup:

Believe it or not there is enough room for the new sub. I left room to upgrade!

Loving the homemade tv stand and rack there,

The eD is a Big Beasly of a sub. Look at the sizes of the ones higher up on the eD scale - some go as big as 8 cubic feet or even 16 cubic feet for the A7-900, I think....

Thanks, I got the idea from someone here. Putting it together was a lot of fun. I left room for an XBOX 360 and a Wii next to the PS3. My goal was to put the AV Rack next to the TV, but I don't have enough room on the same wall.
