Picked up motorstorm yesterday. Overall I think it's a pretty good title, but I wish a few things were a little different. To name a few things ,there does'nt seem to any sense of any real weight density to the vehichicals. They seem to float around a bit. A bit to much. I mean a truck that normaly weighs like 5 or 6 tons to float like a feather just doesn't feel right. I think that the sense of wieght should be relative to the type of vehichical being driven. Some of the other cars don't handle well at al in the mud, but the game defenitely has a lot of fun factor in it, exposions etc. By the way , the big rig is the best ride in the game. What do you guys think?

Actually, the weight of a truck that runs the Baja 1000 or Paris-Dakar Rally (which are sort of like the kind of races that Motorstorm is) is very low. A fiberglass or carbon fiber body is used, with tube-steel chassis. The weight is distributed as close to the tires as possible, so traction is attainable without having to load on the weight, which kills speed and handling.

And what kind of truck weighs 5-6 tons?! A Ford F-150 is about 4,000 lbs, or 2 tons. You're grossly overestimating the weight, and you don't really have a grasp on what is needed for racing. The trucks in that game don't look like they've come from a dealership, people in garages made them by hand, and ordered a ver light weight body shell. These trucks probably weigh less than a luxory sedan.

He is talking about the Big Rigs you can unlock. Not about the Baja Pickup's like what is in the demo.
