Hello All,
I am on the fence right now as to start in on BD. I currently own a Sony XBR Wega that is about 5 years old as well as a Sony Reciever. Neither of which has a HDMI hookup. My DVD player is a Denon with both DVD-A and SACD playback which is hooked up via component. My sattelite is also hooked up by component which between them both uses my 2 component hookups on TV. What I would like to know is would I notice the difference if I went out and bought the Sony 350 BD player now or should the TV be the next purchase? I know a new reciever that decodes the HD audio will be needed later. I was considering starting to get some BD's now to start my collection so I don't double dip later with hopes of possible player by years end. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks for any advice/opinions. Cheers |
