Default Why does Blu-Ray lack so many new releases?
I just had a question as to why I look at upcoming new releases on DVD and see maybe 1 in 3 major releases are hitting Blu-Ray. Is there any time frame to which movie studios plan on pushing Blu-Ray a bit more instead of still testing the waters? I realize the cost, demand, and availability of Blu-Ray movies and players are still on the up and up, but for them to win the Hi Def war, they should pack a major punch and allow as many titles as possible so buyers and avid Blu-Ray fans begin the switch from either HD or regular DVD to solely Blu-Ray. Granted this comes from a Blu-Ray junkie to say the very least...I'm just looking to get my fix and never run out!!!
