Exclamation First Trailer to Max Payne

Max Payne starring Mark Wahlberg. I have to admit, the visual/style of the movie is looking quite nice.

Check out the trailer here.

Max Payne is directed by Irish filmmaker John Moore, of Behind Enemy Lines, Flight of the Phoenix, and The Omen previously, with a screenplay written by first-time writer Beau Thorne. The film is based on the popular Max Payne series of third-person-shooter video games that first arrived in 2001. Fox is debuting Max Payne in theaters on October 17th just before Halloween.

Just checked the trailer, this looks F-ing sweet!!! I think that might have been Olga Kurylenko(Hitman, new Bond girl) in the trailer as well, she is a super-fox.

Edit: I was way off... that is Mila Kunis from that 70's show. Ludacris is in there too

max paynes storyline is quite similar to it. except not like the punisher movie, he does it in style. (the game version that is)...

i hope it transfers over well on the big screen.

come to think of it, mikey rourke wouldve done a better job on this one... after sin city, he fit the perfect role...

Hmm I'm not that impressed by the trailer, looks to me like the average action movie. But then again I never played the games.

Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent (Wahlberg) whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin (Kunis) out to avenge her sister's death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation.

Yeah, I saw a trailer just recently and got pretty excited about it. I haven't been to the theater in a while but I'll probably try to catch this one on the big screen.

Man, without a doubt, Mark Wahlberg is gonna kick so much ass in "Max Payne"! Just about as much as he did in "Shooter"!
