Hmmm, so which two of these 42 aren't included in this box set: https://thedigitalbits.com/item/drea...42-rsm-2022-bd ?

4 quid per disc seems alright for a 40 disc set. There's a pic of an apparent aussie release further down the page at Amazon that states that their's has 42 discs, but that is about 90 quid more.

I can't think what movies would be missing from this unless Amazon's listing is in error and it's identical to the Australian 42 movie collection. I could certainly leave some of Dreamworks' catalogue, but if this set means finally getting the remaining titles on Blu-ray over here (unless they copy the Disney Classics box sets and mix DVDs with Blu-rays for those particular films), then yes, that's a pretty good deal for the price. The only other potential downside is the chance that it won't include The Bad Guys, especially since that didn't get its own Blu-ray on release date.

Might help to retitle this thread "DreamWorks Animation," since they're two entirely separate companies.

I thought this was a box set of movies from the live-action DreamWorks studio for a second.

Chicken Run, and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit might be the missing features. Although the latter was distributed by DreamWorks.

Thinking about it, it could be these two missing along with Flushed Away so that the Aardman movies could have their own collection released. The Bad Guys could then take the missing space as the 40th film.

Exactly what I was thinking, the set is confusingly titled.

Yeah, that is down to an error on my part. I just saw the listing yesterday and had the same title, so I just used that one. My apologies. I updated the title.

No worries, it's thoroughly confusing that DreamWorks and DreamWorks Animation have been entirely unrelated companies for many years, their catalogs even ended up at entirely separate studios - Universal and Paramount.

It looks like it's missing Chicken Run and The Boss Baby sequel, according to the updated listing.

Still no Chicken Run on Blu-ray in the UK which is ridiculous.

If I had to guess/hope, Chicken Run is being held back for release next year to coincide with the sequel. No idea why Boss Baby 2 would be omitted though. And according to the updated listing, it's also missing The Bad Guys and includes Joseph: King of Dreams (which I actually completely forgot about, probably as it's a DTV movie).

Artwork for the set. Looks very ice. Disc slots unfortunately, but that can't be helped with a set of this size.

Chicken Run was released in the UK by Pathe, but the UK DCP starts with the Universal logo so might well be with Dreamworks worldwide now.

I think I’ll probably skip this set as don’t want to own every Dreamworks film and some have UHDs now.

Was never a Dreamworks fan but this is a nice bundle to own if you're into CG animated movies with hip humour.
