I purchased Run Fatboy Run a few days ago and tried to play the blu-ray in my Sharp BD-HP20 player. Each and every time I tried to start the movie it would eject and the screen would say incompatible disc. I thought I might have had a bad disc so I went and exchanged it but the same thing happened with the second disc. I am up to date on all the firmware updates so I am not sure what to do. Has anybody else had any problems with this disc or could help me?

I hate to bring this thread back up near the top because I'm not really helping in any way. But I know how frustrating it is when a BD won't play on a player no matter what you do.
I purchased Live Free or Die Hard when it was released and it wouldn't play on my BDP-S300 player. So I returned it and got another copy. It wouldn't play. So I did all the firmware updates I possibly could and still nothing. I contacted Fox and told them the situation and they sent me another disc. Didn't work. I always hold out hope that the latest firmware I put on my player will allow it to play but I'm currently at 4.20 and it still doesn't play. I have absolutely no problems with my other Blus. Just weird but I wanted to let you know you're not alone. |

I purchased a new DVD from Target, took it home and it would not play. It would not even start to play. Took it back next day to get a re-placement. I noticed there were two different bar codes mixed through the stack of the same movie. I chose the bar code that was different than the one turning back, took it home and it worked perfectly. Reminds me of the new Iron Man recall. There will a few Iron Man Discs on the market that will have a different bar code that won't work on some players.
