Default Worst children's movie?

What is the worst children's movie, and why?

My votes:

Worst message to kids: Little Mermaid - Give up your voice so that you can get legs to spread for your man. Let's reinforce the message that a girl not talking but having nice legs is the way to "True Love's kiss". Well...Maybee.... ...........
I still dont think it is right to teach a little girl that.

Worst film: Mac and Me - horrible E.T. ripoff with numerous and blatant product placements, including Coca-Cola, Skittles, Sears and McDonald's.

What others were bad?

What about the Reese's product placement in E.T.? I don't really remember Mac and Me but I know I liked it when I was young.

a couple come to mind.

But the last childrens movie I think I would want my kids to see: Song of the South.

However, doubtful they would see that one.

Movie that they are likely to see: The Clone Wars.

I want them to have some level of respect for Star Wars.

My wife wanted to see it, so we rented it back when we had 99 cent rentals in our area. (I was able to talk her out of going to the IMAX to see it.)

It was pretty bad, but there have been worse. The CGI was even bad.

lol. It happens.
I knew a couple of people as a kid who got scarred out of their mind by the glowing heart in E.T.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOO!!!

Ye'all are way off.

An American Tail is the worst children's movie of all time.

I have only seen it once because that was all I could handle.
Everything was going fine for that little rat bastard and then his world just turned to dookey. That song....that f'n song STILL makes me wanna kill myself.

I was depressed for two weeks after seeing that as a kid. And that was before they were giving kids mood stabilizers to deal with life!!!

F U Fievel!!!......F U!!!!

ET was terrible.
And I KNOW i'll be beaten alive for this... But I REALLY disliked "A Christmas Story" for the longest time as a kid. I like it more now. But not as much as some.

The Never Ending Story. You can't show a child a movie that ends when the title of the movie is THE NEVER ENDING STORY!!!! AND THEN MAKE A SEQUAL!!!!

The live-action Scooby Doo was PRETTY horrible and its sequel was worse. I only saw them anyway because I'm an SMG fan, but geez, those movies blew.

As for The Little Mermaid, my English professor in college wrote a paper on how the film sends a very wrong message to kids (she gives up her family and friends for a man she's never even had one conversation with), but I personally enjoyed the movie. Most kid movies are extremly unrealistic and idealistic anyway so I don't see them as harmful as long as they have a good home life. I just graduated college in '06 and I remember seeing this funny group on Facebook called "disney gave me unrealistic expectations about love."

And ET, thank God some of you hated it as much as me. I thought people thought I was crazy for not liking it. Even as a kid, I watched it and thought it sucked.

you have got to be kidding right???? give me a break. i dont think that the story lead that belief at all. my daughter loves ariel and the little mermaid movie and she is 6 now. i really think that is a slap in the face to say that about such a classic disney movie as this one. its almost insulting

i think you have alot of other crappy movies out there to pick on for the most terrible kids movie. move on.....................

Have you ever seen the "hidden Disney" innuendo, toward the end of the movie where the priest is marrying the "fake" arial and the prince and he's getting a hard on? I've only ever seen it on the VHS version....but boy is it funny
