How did _______ look on HD-DVD? - Blu-ray Forum

I just got done watching Slither (excellent movie BTW) and a thought occurred to me; since it has yet to be ported over to Blu from HD-DVD, I want to know how did the transfer look on HD-DVD. If you could, try ranking it out of 5 like the website does.

Maybe we could use this thread to get an idea what is waiting for us with the remaining HD-DVD ports that will soon be brought to Blu. I understand that some transfers are much better when they are released on Blu but how did some of the HD-DVD ports look (out of a 5)? Movies like Dune, Slither, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Poseidon, etc.

Give us a taste of what is to come

I never saw the HDDVD so I cant comment but the Canadian Import looked pretty good.i wouldnt say its reference material but not bad

How did Mulholland Drive look and sound on HD DVD and add Definatley Maybe to the list also

Going by a handful of the screen shots from Caps-a-Holic, the HD DVD release was hardly any improvement over the DVD at all. Reviews were fairly positive so perhaps those don't do it justice.

It was only a 15 GB disc so it seems like it would have some room for improvement.

A start is to just look up reviews on DVD-Basen.
