BD-Receiver - Blu-ray Forum

Are cross threads allowed, or is it a violation punishable by Death.......Assuming money is not an issue(which it is) what would you reccomend for a good Blu Ray/Receiver combo. In other words whats the best moderatly priced BD player, and the best moderatly priced Receiver.

Most people on here will say moderately priced the PS3 is the best BDP @ $399, although the Panasonic BD-30/35 $299, BD-50/55 $399 and Sony 350 $299 550(just came out) $399 are very good too. The newer ones seem to be catching up to all that the PS3 has to offer, and maybe more.

Receiver moderately priced

Onkyo 606 $350
Sony 920 $375-450
Pioneer 1018 $350-450
Yamaha V663 $399-599

Any combination of BDP and receiver would be a great start for just about anyone.
