Default Young Frankenstein

Young Frankenstein looks pretty good considering it was originally released in 1974. There is still some film grain as well as scratches and 'cigarette burns." However, I think this was the way Mel Brooks would have intended it to look on any format considering it was suppose to be reminiscent of the old horror movies from the 1930's and 1940's, particularly Frankenstein. I also think this add's to the "charm" of the movie overall. I think the AQ could have been better considering it has a DTS-HD audio, the surround channel speakers were barely used and could only tell in certain parts and the music. If your a fan of Mel Brooks or this film it is worth the purchase and always good for a laugh. Hope this helps.

Texas Chain Saw looks better than it ever has, and it probably doesn't have much further, if any, to go.

I got Poltergeist last week and it's still sealed. Just don't have the time to watch it until my day off (Monday).

Out of the ones you listed I suggest you get The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Not a great transfer, but the movie itself is God.
