Have mine pre-ordered since August, but Amazon says they'll only ship it to me on Oct 6th because I chose free shipping

Bah, I can wait a week for free shipping

(and htey'll expedite The Mist same time).

Yep, shipping October 6th....they didn't tell me that when I ordered. With free shipping I'm looking at mid-late October before I get it.

I guess we blu-ray folks are quicker on the draw.

Mine is being prepared for delivery with a delivery estimate of October 2, although it usually estimates the Thursday after delivery and I always receive it on the Wednesday. Regardless, I won't be watching it until Sunday. I placed my order last Friday and have prime.

Ben called it when he posted last week. Paramount was all over the recall, and there is sufficient supply of Iron Man BD. Great job!

don't forget there are two versions of the DVD, also most people will just pick the movie at the store (though it is still nice that it is doing well)

I know that I am legend was also number 1 in Amazon over the DVD release, but it was priced at $18.95. Having Iron Man BD #1 in Amazon is a great achievement. The movie is going to hit the BD sweet spot looking foward to the first week sales numbers.
