Default Energy/Polk/Klipsch/JBL Speakers...opinions please

looking to purchase some speakers this holiday season. been looking at klipsch, polk, energy and JBL

can anyone attest to the quality of energy, polk, klipsch and jbl speakers? i know that peoples opinions on speakers are very subjective but which of these sound best in general (and which will last me a long time)

my budget is around $1200 CAD for fronts/center

also when do speakers "come out" because with my budget i will only be able to purchase the fronts and center first but i would like to be able to buy the exact matching sub, surrounds later on (hence, still having them available to purchase)

All are good…Pick the one YOU like best

Audition all, and decide what you like best – then come back here to brag!

of the two I prefer the Energy's, I picked up the RC-70's but if Future shop had had the klipsch when I bought mine, I would have went for those. And be careful, those prices are for SINGLE speakers, hence $1500 for the energy rc-30's. you can test them all in store and see what you like, but I would go for klipsch, cheaper and better sound.

I have Energy C6's (front) and C2's (surround) in a rosewood finish. They sound great and look beautiful, too. Energy is a well-respected speaker manufacturer. You will not be disappointed with Energy speakers.

I've had Energy speakers and i liked them immensely.
Out of the choices I would choose Energy, well built and quality sound .
I really don't think you could go wrong my friend

Good luck to you
