Default in need of a bluray player

I need a player that decodes dolby true-hd and dtshd-ma, and has 7.1 analog outputs so that it will be compatible with my older reciever. Do these new formats even work with analog outputs??

You won't be able to get HD audio with your current receiver.

Yes, Blu-ray players will decode the new audio codecs and send them to the receiver via analog outputs. It depends on how much money you are willing to spend though.

Is his receiver not capable of playing multi-channel audio?

I have had so many problems with audio, I gave up and just use normal surround sound.
