Anybody ever get the Superman Returns reissue? - Blu-ray Forum

I had it preordered on amazon, then it was delayed, then they cancelled my order.

Has anyone been able to find this anywhere? Is there news of a new release date? Has it been cancelled?

got it from the WB store also last week when they still had the code working.had to watch it right away when i got it,definitely worth re-buying.

I haven't been able to find it on any brick and mortar or online so far. I thought it was all just a myth. The two people above mentioning WB store are the only ones. I am hesitant to buy oline because I would really like to make sure that it is the correct version and look at the box but can't find the thing anywhere!

I ordered from WB to no problem and quick shipping. I recommend them highly also ordered Poltergiest same time and that is arriving tomarrow day of release date!

It is the right one, there are two versions and the link I put up takes you to the newest one. The boxes look identical except for the barcodes.

Yeah, I paid WHV $33 for it and got it about 2 weeks after Sept 9, the day I ordered it, because it was backordered. Nothing unpleasant from me.

I haven't been able to find it anywhere. BestBuy has tons of the 5.1 surround copies, and I went to HMV to special order it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

If my brother has a crdit card, I'm going to ask if he can not only get that online as well as the Criterion Edition of SALO, since it is illegal for retailers to sell in Canada.

It could be months before we see brick and mortar stores carry this in stores regularly. Most retailers first have to sell through the old lossy copies in inventory before they will order the new lossless version. If someone wants this now I think the only reliable way to get it will be through an Internet store at the moment.

Even though it doesn't say that the listing is the PCM/TrueHD version, it is. The release date is more recent htan the original issuing and there's another listing that has DD 5.1 audio.
