Default Need help getting PS3 to be NAT2????

I ran a connection test and my NAT is Type 3. I found a forum telling me how to fix this by opening ports on my router, but it still does not work. Anyone here know how to do it
????????

Mine is a NAT3 also - I thought you had to go straight to the PC and skip the router to get a NAT2? I dunno...

No, a friend of mine actually pointed this out to me. He showed me a forum post over at Playstation.com that explains how to do it, but when I went through the steps it did not work....I have to try bridging my modem and router next apparently????

With my old router it showed that it was Disabled on my network connections. Now that I bought a new router it just automatically appeared as NAT2 without me changing anything. I haven't heard of being able to change it, but it definately sounds like a router setting.
