Default Sony 350 vs Panasonic BD-35

Has there been any mention on how well the Panasonic ST DVD upscaling will be?

From what I've read, the Sony 350 does a pretty decent job of upscaling standard DVD's, but I'm curious to see which is/will be better.

Thats really the only thing keeping me from choosing one or the other.

Anyone care to comment if they like their PQ using their Sony 350 on regular DVDs?

My audio is only 5.1, and I don't plan on UG'ing anytime soon.

Anyways, thanks!

Default Bump!

Interested to see what people think here. I'm in the market too!

I need a player that will bitstream DTS-HD MA, and Dolby TrueHD to my Onkyo TX-SR805, so I DO NOT CARE about the players capabilities to decode.

Either Sony 350 OR Panasonic 35? for $299

OR

Either Sony 550 OR Panasonic 55? for $399

I don't believe I need to spend the extra cash for the decoding since I won't be using it at all.

If you can decode all.. Buy the 350 or 35. The 550 come with a free 1g Memory card.. but you can buy a 2g memory stick (USB) for less than 9.99$ now a day (that if you're interested in Downloadable Content for BD Live)
