OP how was the quality of Pauline at the beach in HD?
Also, do you know if any other HDTV Rohmer films are available?

The Time Machine (1960) - and it was Stunning!
Major Dundee (great Charlton Heston/Sam Peckinpah western)
Pit and the Pendulum (Vincent Price Poe classic!)
House of Usher (More Price/Poe perfection!)
Masque of the Red Death (even more Price/Poe classic)

All great HD transfers either on HD Net or MGM HD. Hope and pray they all are headed to Blu-Ray!

It was on the MGM HD channel. It looked great, like most of the stuff that's on the channel (Aside from the yellow subtitles )
And I haven't seen any other Rohmer Films on it, but I was very happily surprised that they even played one.

By the way if your DVR supports it and have a proper computer, with Firewire or another port open on the DVR you can transfer the HD movies to your hard drive and make your own Blu-rays out of them. It's what I'll be doing next month.
