Problem setting up Tivo HD DVR

Here's the problem. One day it was working perfectly with the cable card and component output to the HDTV, then 12 hours later, only the HD channels are displayed while the SD channels get a blue screen. Tried with all settings (HD only, SD only and hybrid) but no dice. Tried changing from component to HDMI and nothing. Even thought of setting up HD channels for component and SD channels with composite and still nothing.

Tivo and cable company can't seem to solve the problem. Again, the main enigma is it worked during the initial setup but 12 hours later, it didn't. What's the deal, HD Tivo users?

Please give suggestions with the full steps and possible issues. It's not my setup so I can't get the fix implemented immediately.
