Default blu-ray bonusview option???

I have a Samsung P-1500 blu-ray player and a Samsung LA46A650 LCD.

When playing the disc "Wanted" last night, the 'bonusview' text appeared in the top left corner. I tried everything to get rid of the text, but it stayed there during the entire movie and was very distracting. I understand it's notifying me that I can view extra footage at the same time as watching the movie. But I didn't want to watch the bonusview option, nor did I want the 'bonusview' text appearing on the screen.

Does anyone know how to turn off the "bonus view" text so it's not on the screen during movie playback?

thanks

I don't own the movie (YET). But my first thought to you is go into the bonus features and try to turn it off, try that if you haven't yet. I have demoltion Man on DVD and it always goes to spanish language, and english subtitles. ALways have to go to feratures to turn it off. I know i know how dare i compare DVD to Blu . Thats not what I was doing, just a for instance thing.

Just as neos peace suggested... you might want to check in the pop-up menu for an option to turn bonusview off. I haven't experienced anything like that, yet.

Here is your answer:

Try hitting "pop up menu" then "info" and the "pop up menu" again on the remote while the movie is playing. It doesn't make sense but it seems to work.
