how would you have changed the happening to make it good?

this movie got slammed big time by a lot of people. i believe high def digest.com gave it half a star. ouch. i wanted to see what people who saw the movie and hated it would change about it to make it good.

i rented it, i have blockbuster total access so it was free when i turned in my mailed movie. I watched it (dry heaving noise). I didn't hate it as much as i thought i would, but it was still a horrible movie. here is what i would have changed:

mark and john. i think leguizamo would have been better suited to elliot than mark and vice versa. johns character gets angry in one scene for a moment and i think he pulled it off ok. but mark would have been more startling and powerful.

keep people guessing. play up the chaos a little. so many possibilities of what caused this he should have kept people guessing instead of spoon feeding the answer then sprinkling some less believable possibilities.

HAVE SOMEONE ELSE WRITE IT!! he should be the producer for his movies and thats it. come up with an idea and let other people with real imagination run with it. but that goes for all his movies after unbreakable.

the deaths. outside of the first scene with the construction workers there really wasn't any shocking or startling things. you expected them so it just became "oh look someone (insert odd way of dying here)". it became like watching final destination, but with a cast who have careers.

other than that, it was ok.
