Need help - Blu Ray Case question (newby) - Blu-ray Forum

Hi all

This is my first post here, apologies if this has been asked before or i'm in the wrong place. I'm hoping someone can help me with my blu ray case question.

I'm trying to find a specific kind of case for my blu ray imports (i'm in the uk) and i'm have a really hard time tracking them down. I don't know the name of them, the only similar case I have found is called a "Vortex" case, but I think everyone knows them as the cases Sony/Disney use. They look a lot like the uk Amaray cases, but only thinner (11mm as compared to Amarays 14mm) with the security latch and have an embossed logo and rounder corners(i've posted pictures of the Fifth Element in the case i'm after, and the other case for reference)

Every site I go to that sells cases only seem to have the other kind, the squarer box and the curving spine. Are the cases i'm looking for been phased out in preference of the "Elite" cases? I'm not 100% sure if the Nexpak cases are what i'm looking for either, I can't find a good picture of one.

If anyone knows where I can get a handful of these either in the UK, or shipped to the UK, i'd be very grateful.

Welcome to the forum. What you would be referring to are the Disney type blu ray cases. As to where you can get them, I don't know. I know sleevecity.com has excellent cases but not the kind your looking for. I would recommend checking ebay or if you PM me I could give you the name of someone who might possibly sell you some.

I'm pretty sure that is the same case that Sleevetown.com carries. The last shipment I received from them looks identical to what you have pictured. I think they are manufactured by Nexpak.

The Sleevetown cases are 11mm thick, and they have the security latch and an embossed logo but they have the spine and the corners of the other case nellus has pictured beside The Fifth Element (I just call the other style of cases Warner cases because every Warner BD I've bought comes with that style BD case

nellus I've been looking to replace a bunch of my cases too but I've got no idea where to find the Sony/Disney ones either.
