Pissed off at NHL09!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, I have to tell you guys something about this game. I've been hook ever since I got it. Finished the season in "be a pro mode" second place overall, and then made it to the Stanley cup finals against (surprise, surprise) the team the made it first overall. Then I lost 4 games straight, losing the cup finals and had a total of 1 goal during all 4 games, for some reason my team and I couldn't score. Then I check to see who their goalie was, and its some girl named "Sabrina Ladha".....WTF?!?!?!? Apparently, after I did some googling, she is a girl who in her "make a wish foundation" she wished that she could be a goalie in NHL09. That's fine, I understand she wished for it and all, but for EA to make her some SUPER human goalie that any team can pick up, and then for her to take that team to the cup is.... F#$king BS.

So, I wasted hours of playing so I could get knocked out 4 straight in the finals to some "FAKE" goalie.

What do you guys think of this??

At least you'll be around for NHL 2010.

In my league right now, she is playing for the Islanders and is the main reason why they are running away in 1st place. I was thinking about signing her on my team but I thought she wanted too much money for a teenager. Maybe when I start a new league I'll try to delete her or change her skill levels.

I did manage to beat them a couple of times so far though (playing in regular franchise mode on Pro level).

I need to add that this game rocks!!! The most fun game I have ever played.

i beat her, sher played for the islanders and the first time i played her i lost, but that was the only time we met duing regular season and then when met for the sup finals and i tore them up in 4 outta 5 games.

That's crap. They could have made her a regular (not superhuman) goalie in the game.

what was the old NHL game that 989 sports made? dominck hasek in either 98 or 99 was near unbeatable, he let up like 4 goals the entire year for me.

I think it is dumb they made her so good in the game, but from people say, she is beatable. Try playing as a goalie and having your team not score, I played 7-8 games yesterday and we got shutout 3 of them...

You and I have the same blu-ray and HD DVD players lol
