Default Different versions of Wall E

On The Blu Ray website it mentions that there will be 2 versions of Wall E, One in a 2 disc set and the other a 3 disc set. Are there any plans for the 3 disc set to be released in the UK? I have been looking at sites such as play.com and amazon.co.uk and have found nothing. Im guessing that the 3 disc version WILL be region coded as it is a new release.

The 3rd disc is a Digital Copy. The other two discs are identical between versions. Interestingly, they are selling for the same price here in the States.

I ordered the 3 disc set and it cost me more money than the 2 disc set. All for a Digital copy. Will it come in a better box or something?

Probably not. But companies really need to do something with a bit more class than shoving the digital copy disc in a paper sleeve.

Definitely going for the 3 disc version. I loved that movie. Hands down the best movie of the year (yes, even better than The Dark Knight).

Now all we need is The Incredibles to come out!!!

Someone on AVS said the 3-disc version will come with a slipcover, and the 2-disc will not. Not sure if that's truly the case, though.

For the original poster, yes as a Disney release the US Wall E will probably be region coded. As to the third disc with digital copy, in the UK Hancock will be the first BD to have this when it is released here in December and Wall E will not have it over here.

Thanks for the reply people, I thought that the thread would vanish without an answer. I'm so glad the 3rd disc is just a digital copy, I don't want to be missing out on actual content.
