Default Would this lappy be fast enough for blu-ray

A Dell Studio 17, intel T8100 cpu 800mhz, 1920x1200, 3 gig ddr, 256mb ati 3650 vid card. and of course a blu-ray drive thanks

Definitely. The ATI 3650 will offload most of the video processing (of at least the primary video stream), and the T8100 us fast enough to handle the reast (including the additional work of a secondary stream if present).

I hope your eyes are good, though. I think 1920x1200 is GREAT on 17" screens, but if your vision isn't 20/20, that's a very high resolution for a screen that size. You may want to check out models in stores that operate with that resolution just to know what you're getting into.

Which is why us HDX owners have 20.1" 1080p monitors on our notebooks.
