Best Buy and Sony BDP-S550 - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone have a clue when Best Buy will get the S550 in stock. I have all these reward zone certificates I want to use to get it.

not sure as far as best buy...but circuit city already has them...picked mine up last week. It's my first Blu-Ray player. Very nice!

I'm in Overland Park, KS and they (Best Buy) has them in stock.

I've seen them near $399 on Amazon since pretty much the last couple weeks (not sure when they came ou), and a bit lower on some sites---then one of the "secondary" sellers on Amazon had it for $329, BUT with an additional $29 in shipping, so it was only $40 difference. NOW, either today or yesterday, I checked and AMAZON is showing it as $329 flat out---NO shipping costs (anything over $25, their usual policy I believe). So I think that is pretty damn good. I'm going to wait a few more weeks at least though, and see if it gets even lower. If it hits $299, i'm pulling the trigger!!
