AV Center SR805, PS3 and HD-A2---- Yes, I know I could have started a fire with the stuff on top of the 805. I don't know who put that on there.

Dust, clean, organize, clean, organize, and clean. Lot's of Bose there... It seems you need a sub upgrade there. Sorry for all the constructive criticism.

For all the BOSE haters... I promise, I paid maybe 10% of the MSRP.
My next upgrades are Bass Shakers to my old receiver....
Also a Elemental A2-300, once I get some stuff sold on eBay

*Edit this was not towards anyone just posted and see reply's already.

What exactly are we looking at in these pictures? I can't get past all the dirty.

BTW - Nothing wrong with living at home. A lot of people are doing it nowadays. Too damn expensive to live on your own.

Man, you gotta dust that! You're going to end up clogging up and killing your components if you don't keep a handle on that. Not to mention the opportunity to scratch your movies.

Well.. Truth is now my HT is in the Garage.... I need to take some pics of that.

I worried about the temp there will mess with my bulb in the CRT. Plus the dust and it being the garage.

Truth is I didnt notice the dust until I moved.... We really needed to change the AC filter

The best thing to dust electronics with would be just a plain old duster correct?

Edit* In Fact tonight when I get done watching the Dark Knight... I am going to have to take pics of my garage setup, see peoples opinons on what I could do now.
I bet its still going to be clean up :P

holy shnikies. your equipment really hates you. for surface dust a swiffer will do just fine,(a soft bristle vacuum attachment will work better) but from the looks of your vents on the ps3 and the top of your receiver there a fair amount inside your equipment. The PS3 your outa luck but you can take the top shell off the receiver and use a can of air to get all the dust out of there. i do that once a year with all my equipment.

There is a "PS3 Fan Test" that you can do with the 40gb models and some others, that basically cranks the fans up to high and can help clear that stuff outta there. Try googling it for a description on how to do it. I did it once and did see some dust come out.
