Default Using Netflix for BDs - your thoughts?

Signed up for Netflix and should be getting my rentals soon. Does anyone else use Netflix for Blu-ray movies? How fast is the shipping, etc

I used to have netflix but had to cut down on some monthly expenses. I used to get blu-rays within the next day or two.

They come quick. Within a day or two. They just started charging a dollar more a month for Blu Rays but still worth it IMO. Generally, good availability but sometimes on new, popular releases theres a short wait.

Yeah, that sounds good. I'm not even sure which ones will be coming, added a bit to the queue.

I love using Netflix for BD rentals (for all rentals really). Last week I got Indy on release day (Wed. due to holiday Mon.) and Incredible Hulk will be waiting for me tomorrow when I come home. Just make sure to send your movies in on Sat. if you want to get a new release on Tuesday. Also, I still use BB for the BD's that I have long waits for in my que so I'm pretty much covered...although I seldom go now to BB but it's a good backup to Netflix.

It all depends on your proximity to a Netflix shipping center. I have one about 9 miles away so I get mine fairly quickly.

Also,
To me, BB=Best Buy and BBV=Blockbuster Video

Well since they increased it by $1 I've noticed that my movies have been coming more frequently. So Netflix is currently back in good graces in my household.

I have had about 5 movies at the top for about 4 months now that are still "very long wait". But, other than that, it's been pretty good.

If you can get your movies, they are good, but if you can't get new releases and catalog titles right away, you can expect to be waiting a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooong time!

I've had a great experience with using Netflix for BDs, some others might not have. I can only speak for myself and say they are prompt in mailing the discs out

They have been very prompt with BD's for me. I'll pay the extra $1 as long as they keep it up.

It's rare (though it's happened one or two times in the last 16 months) that I've had to wait for a blu-ray. I got Iron Man right away.

Been with them for 5 years, never an issue. Movies arrive in a day and have never had any have any wait of any kind, even brand new releases.

I don't have any problem with get BD from Netflix. The only real problem is you have to time it right or you'll be waiting a long time to get BD new releases. Netflix doesn't seem to have enough copies of the new releases.
