Default Laserdiscs-What to do with them?

I have about 300 laserdiscs (and a Pioneer laserdisc player). It's all stored in my closet. I will never hook it back up and watch them ever again.

What should I do with this stuff? I hate to just throw all of it out.

Doubt it. Not many VHS tapes would sell for more than a few dollars.

I kept my two high end laserdisc players (both pioneers AC-3 and Dts enabled), all of my Dts and AC-3 discs, and sold the remaining 600 disc on EBAY, and there were no shortage of buyers back then.

Hmm some you could send flying in the air and shoot them with a rifle, others you could fling all over like frisbees

you might be surprised, you might get some $$$ for the player (if it is a desirable one) and some decent money if you have some rarer titles

but before you use any of it for target practice, call around to some local non-profits (like battered women/children shelters) and see if they want/ could use them - it could get it off your hands with no hassles and you might get a nice little tax write off

I only have 2 movies left on Laserdisc. (I would gladly replace them with a better medium if either film ever existed on a better medium.)

I made DVDs of them (using a video capture card) and then hung them up like art.

You can still sell records and for some reason... you can still sell LD's. I would sell them right away if I can 300. Better yet... I would sell them long ago but I guess that's not an option.
