I'm once again turning to all of you for advise, because I have a major problem with my turntable.
As some of you may know, I recently upgraded the cartridge (see sig) and I've noticed in the last 2 weeks that my speakers are emitting a constant high-frequancy pitch. It shouldn't be the cartridge as it has the same 5mV output as my previous one. When I unplug the TT from my receiver everything is fine. The pitch is gone. I plug it back in and voila here we go again. So it's definately the TT in my opinion. But I have no idea why? I've never ever even had an inkling of problems. Any advice is so greatly appreciated. |
