How much could I get for Denon AVR-1603? - Blu-ray Forum

I have a Denon AVR-1604 that I've had for about 3.5 years that I'd like to sell soon and upgrade to a receiver that has HD sound.

I paid roughlt $650 CAN for this when I bought it new. Any idea what I coudl get for this?

If I were you, I would use the receiver in another room/bedroom for two channel music and buy a new AVR for my main movie room. It all depends on your financial situation. Good luck.

I was going to say $150 as well.

My older non-hdmi denon was selling for around $100 on ebay so I gave it to my step dad instead of selling it. (He was in the process of building a HT.)

You could also add some small satellites and hook it up to your computer. Have a turntable? Hook it up and convert your vinyl into a digital format.

Really most of the time it's worth more just to hold on to it.
650 turns into 150 pretty fast.I say keep it my friend.

The 1603 was the same model I had. Just updated to a 1909 model. Sold my old Denon for $250 CDN.
