the fact that this is a double feature makes it all the more awesome. Both movies are 80's cheesy horror goodness (especially Video Dead).

Now, where's Scarecrows and The Burning double feature Scream Factory? (both in the unrated versions please)

Can't imagine that these will have many extras, so there will probably be enough room to have them on one disc.

But a great move by SF, for niche fans. Both of these movies skipped DVD, you'd have to go back to VHS to get them, so I think there will be a decent amount of fans waiting for these.

Terrorvision has always caught my eye and recently I've also watched Cinemassacre's AVGN review for it, awesome stuff.

I'm looking forward to TerrorVision, but if I remember correctly, Video Dead was a cheap looking shot on video mess. I rented Video Dead back in the 80s and couldn't bring myself to finish it. Maybe I'll have to rewatch it again.

I'm loving the idea of putting the lesser-known titles that would have very few special features together into a double feature. It makes it lot easier to spend $20 on a blind buy

This very well may be the first double feature disc with two unrelated movies, where I actually want both of them. Glad to see they're finally being released on disc, it's been a long wait.

Are you confusing VIDEO DEAD with VIDEO VIOLENCE? The latter was a shot on video DTV flick from '88 or '89. I also thought that was the movie Shout was releasing until I happily discovered otherwise. Video Dead looks like a decent time-waster - I'm definitely down for a copy. But I won't touch do-it-yourself camcorder epics with a ten foot pole - I'd rather watch old family home videos.

i was always under the impression that Video Dead was shot on video as well until this BD was announced. The old UK VHS certainly looked that way. Bad conversions i guess.

The Basement DVD set which includes both video violence movies is a great coelction of 8mm/shot on video movies. I've seen a few fun films, its ashame to write them off just becuase they were shot on tape. Watched German gorefest The Burning Moon recently, and that was a fun shot on video movie too
