Default New to blue ray: which way to turn?
I too am stuck with either the Pannasonic 55 vs the Sony S-550, but after seeing the sony at £257, and with the Panasonic still at £400 it's looking a little more easy to pick.

I have also just yesterday got my Pionner 1018AH, wich decodes both the Master and true HD codacs.

My question is this connecting either of the above players to the amp using HDMI, and given that both players decode both as does the amp. hows best to set that up?

I am wanting the Amp to decode so what setting do i need to switch on or off on the Players menues so that i can get loss'less audio over HDMI?
