Which Audio codec is the best when ripping CD's to HD? - Blu-ray Forum

The title speaks for itself I guess. Under Audio CD Import, you can select AAC, MP3 or ATRAC. Which of the three is better?

they all have their ups and downs, and it really depends on the capabilities of your audio equipment.

you have some good full range speakers? running sound out of TV speakers?
what's your drivespace like? how often will u use the PS3's ripped music? what type of music will you be ripping most?

From my testing, 192Kbps AAC is the "sweet spot".
