Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Amazon Spanish subtitles? - Blu-ray Forum

I have been looking for a version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on Blu Ray with Spanish subtitles. The US version that is in retail stores has only French and English subs. However, looking at the CTHD on Amazon, they list subs in Portuguese, Spanish, Korean and Thai. Is this correct? Can anyone with a Crouching Tiger from Amazon confirm that the subtitles are, in fact, Por, Span, Korean and Thai?

I can't imagine that they would be incorrect on the subtitle listing, but at the same time, could they even make a totally separate disc? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, which listing are you looking at? If it's for the US disc then it's probably wrong (according to what you said)...but if you found another region or release, it may very well be properly listed.

Amazon doesn't have their own releases of BDs.

The US disc only has English and French. No Spanish.

If you want Spanish subtitles, you need to get either the Taiwan/Korean/Japanese/South American discs. They all have the same specs with Spanish subtitles.

Yes, I submitted a change to Amazon regarding the subtitles. It's still pending. If you really want a Spanish subbed version, don't get the US version.

Amazon is NEVER right when it comes to subs, aspect ratios, etc.

Really?. I had no idea there was a version on BD of this with Spanish subtitles, can you post a link with stores that carry it?.

Unfortunately the version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on Blu-ray with Spanish subtitles is currently out of print and is no longer available for sale at DDDHouse and YesAsia. Amazon.com and their third-party marketplace don't sell this kind of version. Also, I couldn't find it at Amazon.es or any Brazilian web site that sells Blu-rays.

I see. I never knew the korean or south american versions of this title had spanish subtitles. I'll have to check second hand web sites to see if there's any luck.

Are you certain of this with Spanish subtitles? There's also a U.S. import of the film at Mixup.

The info in the "Product Details" section of the BD film listing on Amazon.com has been revised.

Unless they decided to include a Spanish dub and no subtitles whatsoever, the Mexican release should certainly have Spanish subtitles.
