Default Old School Infinity

I am currently restoring a pair of Old School Infinity SM-150's. They have 15" subs that need to be reconed and the gain adjustments need to be taken apart and cleaned. These old school speakers crank. They are so efficient you only need like 5 watts to push them. I sanded the cabinets down and put heavy duty castors on them so I can wheel them around. They are great for outside parties. They are extremely LOUD. Anyone else familiar with these?

I am from a family of lifelong Harmon speaker owners. I would love to see some pics when you get them finished.

Very familiar with these speakers - one of the first good speakers that I owned back in the late 80's. Polycell tweeter, two 5 1/2 midranges, 1 15 inch woofer, 102db sensitivity. Port in the back is about the size of a Q-Ball. For back in the day they weren't bad at all.

Yeah I love the hugeness of the speaker. Its very imposing. I actually have 2 sets. I am going to use them for backyard parties. Originally they were mounted in a really wealthy guys mansion in his theatre room that my uncle built back in the day. He had them mounted in the cieling facing down. I laugh every time I look up at my cieling and see my flush mounted in wall spaekers and just thing how crazy the sound would have been by have these mounted above my head... lol Pics will follow for sure. I just got the reconing kit in the mail.
