Default Mitsubishi slow switching?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did search and came up with very little in regards to my tv.

I have a Mitsubishi 65733. I do love it but when changing channels from 720p to 1080i and back, it takes forever to switch over to the new signal. Is this the tv or the cable box? I'm on Time Warner cable. I get audio almost as soon as I change the channel but the video lags 5-10 seconds behind.

Any ideas?

Just select only 720p or 1080i on your cable box. Problems solved.
I had the same situation with my WD73735 and my DTV receiver.

I looked into it but when I connect via HDMI, the box does not permit any changing.

Its the cable box not the tv..its the box processing the signal.
