The film will begin with a prologue set in the Old West, giving a back-story on what The Creeper (Jonathan Breck) really is, who he was and how he came to be. Jumping forward to 2024, 23 years after the setting of the first two films, Trish Jenner (Gina Philips), the surviving main character from first film, is suffering from horrible nightmares. She fears that her son will suffer the same fate as her brother Darry. Teaming up with the Taggarts (Luke Edwards & Ray Wise) from the second film, Trish looks to take down the Creeper once and for all.
