Default Panasonic Plasma Screen - tough as nails!

I was playing Wii sports last night with a bat extension on the Wii mote, the extension flew off the base and hit the tv right in the middle of the screen. After I almost s*** myself I went over and looked at the screen not a blemish, dent, of even a trace on the tv. The bat extension is busted up though.

Panasonic Plasma 1, Wii bat 0.

Was wondering if anyone else has had something similar happen?

Panasonic, I was having a brain fart, sorry long day at work and still here. The editor will not let me change the title of the thread.

This is why I am weary of incorporating a Wii into my set-up. If anything happened to my TV I'd be sooo disappointed.

I have a Wii with 4 kids, They know better to use the straps ! I don't allow any extensions just for that reason. I thought the Star Wars lightsabers were the craziest extensions, Yeah 4 kids playing swords in the living room in front of the TV (Not in my house).
