Thanks for posting this. I jumped right on it. Added Blade Runner (5-disc, Blu-ray) to push it over the free shipping threshold. This will be my first Blu-ray Blind Buy.

Just ordered too.

Added a couple of books to get free shipping.
For some reason, Amazon.ca charges provincial tax for BC. (Thought the operation was in Ontario.)

For Amazon.ca, it depends on where the product is being shipped to. I lived in Northwest Territories, so I only pay the 5% GST. Ontario has higher tax (13%) than BC (12%, I think), so you're lucky.

Yeah, I pre-ordered mine on the weekend and it still hasn't shipped. What is the point of pre-ordering, when they are not going to have one to send you? Also, the $10 discount is the Visa Perks one where you pay with a credit card for the first time in an account with an order over $40. You can open up countless accounts to do it. This makes amazon.ca much better than amazon.com with their new import fees.

My new expected delivery for BARAKA is between Dec.2 and Dec. 17, which is a real bummer. At least there've shipped JEWEL LIVE and I guess if Canada Post has a good day I might get it on Monday/Tuesday.

Although the delay sucks, the price was great and I can wait.

Considering picking this up, but I'm not convinced it's a movie I will want to watch multiple times.

Sounds like even if I ordered it today though, I'd have about a month to rent it and watch it before it ships, so I would have time to cancel.
