Default Rear speakers

I have a stupid question I just upgraded my front speakers and I was wondering if I could get better sound by using my old front speakers in the rear?

My old front speakers are Yamaha speakers and my rears now are Yamaha.

Are they better Yamaha's then the ones in the rear? If so, then... of course! Not all Yamaha's are equal, just like the Chevy Cobalt doesn't have the same features, horsepower, etc of a Chevy Impala...

Good analogy, this tends to be true with many speaker companies...
