Default The Kingdom - Is it Mr and Mrs Smith part 2?

Wow, the movie was excellent until the last 20 minutes. Now its gone beyond a joke. The Arab terrorists out number the Americans by about 20-1 with RPG's, machine guns, grenades and the Americans didn't even get a flesh wound.

I would have given this 9/10 but the ending just defies belief. It it was James Bond I would let it pass since its supposed to be a bit spoofy or far fetched. But since this movie was realistic throughout until the end, the ending should have been slightly less rambo at the end as well.

A point could be made that they were FBI and were trained a lot better than the terrorists.

But I do agree with you that it could have been more realistic at the end. However I still love the movie regardless.

I really like this movie alot. Has some great action at the end. You just gotta enjoy it. My brother and dad are always disecting everything in every movie saying "that's not realistic" and stuff like that and I get sooooo mad at them. You can do that to every movie OR you can just enjoy it which is what I try and do.

Just because they are feds doesn't mean they can take cover behind a car and not take a single injury. They were surrounded on all sides and the bullets hit everything around them but not the agents.

Plus the enemies had the advantage of being high up. In real life they would of all died.

yepp, not to mention the RPGs would of at least shot some shrapnel their way, causing some flesh wounds.

Not to mention that every bullet the feds shot it ended up killing one of the bad buys. Anyway, this is up for sale ASAP. Its totally ruined the movie for me. Change the genre to comedy and I might keep it

What was unrealistic about it, other than having a couple of Saudi's helping them. Joke

But yeah, better training, body armour, getting behind cover when an RPG goes off can do wonders.

Body armour and Training beats a head rag and indignation 9 times out of 10.

Guys it's a movie not reality. If you want reality, strap on a uniform and take a tour of duty in Irak or Afghanistan, that's reality.

watched it for the first time a few days ago and i really liked it. you have to take the majority of the movie with a huge grain of salt or else you won't enjoy it as much. i mean cmon, 4 american fbi agents single-handedly take down one of saudi arabia's "greatest" (fictional) terrorists in a matter of days? it's an on the surface action movie with little political depth, take it or leave it.

You spelt Iraq wrong. But doesn't really matter about training when you are basically being showered by bullets from above. Doesn't matter if you duck behind something when a RPG flies through the air. You have no cover from directly above. Havn't you guys seen The Rock. We are complaigning about the reality of the movie because the rest of the movie seemes relatively grounded.

Yeah, its like watching a documentary for the first 90 minutes. In the last 15 or 20 minutes I wouldn't have been surprised if Rambo came on the scene.

Sorry about the spelling, in French it's Irak
