Smile Bought New Polk Speakers

So I upgraded my old Sony speakers over the weekend. Here's what I got.

F - Polk TSi400
C - Polk CS10
R - Polk R150

I'm guessing the R150 are older models. The store didn't have any TSi100 in stock, so I decided to try these out. Would it be better to have the TSi100s to match the fronts? How is the setup as a whole? My receiver is a Pioneer 1018.

I think it isn't so important that the backs match as much as it is for the fronts and center, but I personally prefer it

I am looking into a X-Mas time speaker upgrade as well. I am also considering upgrading my current Sony speakers to Polk...then again I do not know how much they cost yet.

Thumbs up

I have always been a supporter of Polk.
My main theater is 7.1 (4ohm) and I have:
F/L/R: LC265i
Surrounds/Backs: LC80i

My theater/whole house is controlled by Crestron so my audio distribution rooms are all Polk TC80i as well. Phenomenal sound and performance from Polk.

I'm trying to find some Polk Monitor 50's or 60's and a CS1 or CS2. However being in Canada. I'm kinda screwed.

Visions had them the 50's on sale two weeks ago for $285/pair. About a month ago they had the 60's on sale for a little more.

We have The Source by Circuit City. They don't have any Polk listed on their website. $29 for CS2, its around $300 up here.

At my local Circuit City, they were going out of business and had 10-20% off everything in the store.

I'd of jumped on that. Looking at their website they have the 50's priced at $569.99 & the CS1 at $198. Both ridiculous prices.

I was in Buffalo on sunday however all the Circuit City's in the area were out of stock and won't be getting anymore obviously. Best Buy was also sold out. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I want my Polks! Right now I'm stuck w/ HTiaB Sony speakers .

If you can find the TSi series for a decent price, they are basically the same speaker.

Would it be okay to pair the TSi w/ the CS1 or 2? Note, these will be used as my fronts.
