160GB Drake's Fortune PS3 Release Date - Blu-ray Forum

When is the exact release date for the 160GB PS3 that comes with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? The EBGames site says that it ships 11/13 and Amazon.com says 11/30. I really want to get one, so does anyone know the exact date that it will be released?

They're bundling a year-old game with a new PS3? They should be bundling R2 or LBP or again with MGS4.

Uncharted is stilll a great game, and it has Trophies. Its probably the 2nd most polished PS3 game ive played beside MGS4. Everything about the game, options, menus, gameplay, graphics, trophies, rewards screams quality.

And you seldom see brand new games included in bundles.

i love uncharted and all but i think it would be better to give a newer game with the bundle. i think resistance 2 or LBP would have been a better choice...but maybe they figure people will buy those anyway but not necessarily uncharted, those clever bastards at sony...

1. Uncharted is older so it's made the money it's going to make so giving it away may get people excited for a sequel.
2. Uncharted is without a doubt the best (or 2nd best) looking game on the PS3, so you are getting a visually inspiring game out there to people.
3. Uncharted has trophies, and has it's own "Home" room so you are using a game that will showcase some of the PS3's features straight away.
4. Uncharted is awesome.

Number 1 nailed it, they are bundling with Uncharted so that more people will want Uncharted 2, which will probably be ****ing awesome and with MP and everything else.

Uncharted is also a PS3 exclusive so many people buying a PS3 for the first time will not have played it yet. I'm sure Sony isn't particularly worried about those of us buying multiple units. =P

(always to busy playin mgs4 and madden09) and i gave my 80gb ps3 to my 6 year old son when i got this today,so this was a must buy, least for me.......

No it doesn't, that was just a mock up i think.
and the silver is only in japan.

no but sony said they will start manufacturing them next year. just my guess but i think we'll have $300 ps3 and ps2 backwards compatibility added through emulation by the next holiday season.
