Default Aladdin: Return of Jafar apparent release date

Don't know if folks should get their hopes up but according to Wikipedia(of all places) lists this title as being released on blu-ray on October 16, 2010.

I haven't seen this anywhere else so I thought I'd post it here but my question is also could this be like Fantasia is going to be where Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 are hitting blu on the same day, could Aladdin and Return of Jafar be hitting blu the same day?

I thought Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 were going to be on the same disc though. I also don't think I'd believe everything I read on wikipedia.

No, the fantasia discs will each have their own disc. Whether or not they are in the same case is another story.

This is only if the first Aladdin comes to blu-ray, and that's not even confirmed.

Return of Jafar on blu-ray is quite possibly one of the stupidest ideas ever.
Not only was the film shot in 1.33:1, the budget was comparable to a Saturday morning cartoon, and is features some of the worst animation outside of made for TV cartoons in Disney history, even if it was made for home video. Plus the amount of work to clean this up so that it would be watchable in HD would be enormous, and in my opinion, not even worth it, since it would just highlight flaws in the animation, and the fact that the Genie isn't even voiced by Robin Williams.

Besides, Wikipedia is not a reliable source of information. I could have posted that Return of Jafar is quietly releasing next Tuesday on Blu-ray, and it would have the same credibility as whoever posted that.
