Default Casino Royale played on PS3

Any not getting a good overall picture. Read a review on Amazon that said the movie has alot of dots in dark areas.

Just wanted to know if there is any negative in the PS3 blueray compared to a standard1.

Default looks great on my PS3

I played on at non-HD tv, on a 1080p set and look great both times. On two different PS3's.

Played back perfectly on my Euro PS3, it's by far the best looking video I've seen to date and has raised my expectations for other recent/new movies.

Loving the Bluetooth remote as well, matches my Bravia tv remote nicely (visually) and every button press registers, no more pointing! Hopefully it's the start of a trend even if it does annoy the all-in-one IR remote users.

The review on Amazon is written by a complete douc*e. M$ fanbois target popular ps3/blu-ray items and write bad reviews with no other purpose than to think that by doing so, they are turning customers on to the hd-dud.

Pathetic really.

Played on my PS3 and i have an XBR bravia perfect amazing wonderful and Gorgeous if i still have some words to say i will say it

CR has been attacked by HD-DVD fans only not the neutrals one just they are impressed and surprised what BD did these days either in sales or in PQ and SQ ......Sony titles lately including Layer Cake are gorgeous no one even can say a worse word about them Just impressed.

They may have just been picking on the graininess of the opening but
it was intended to be that way. It looked the same way in the theatre as it did on my PS3.

I've seen specks from long lengths of HDMI cables - like 50ft. and up. Especially if you're running 1080p through long lengths. If that's the case, get a pure Fiber Optic HDMI. If not, the specks may be caused by interferance in the AC. Might be a good idea to get a line conditioner. That would clean up shorter lengths of cable nicely.

Absolutely. I daresay I was probably at reference quality or very close to it.
