Iron Man on Blu-ray recalled? :( (ancient history) - Blu-ray Forum

I was just informed by my distributor there was a serious error with the Iron Man Blu-ray version. It seems they recalled ALL of the product, no details were given why exactly.

My rep tells me they are trying hard to get enough Blu-ray discs manufactured in time for next weeks street date. Honestly if they barely found about the problem.....how the heck are they going to reproduce all the discs in just a week?

Maybe it was only a certain batches (that just happened to be my distributor lol) but this is not good for paramount and certainly not for BLu-ray. This will effect sales if all you have available the first week is a DVD version.

The funny thing is that many people here have the Blu-ray disc already and have not come across any problems/serious errors.

I was in Blockbuster earlier today and the manager showed me a memo regarding defective Iron Man Blu ray discs. It said not to put any out and to return them to wherever they get them.

its gone, but amazon posted another iron man, what is going on? Not available from tower.com either..
