Default Onkyo 806 on the way...

Well I did it and finally made a decision.

For $617.99 shipped, I purchased the Onkyo 806b from Amazon.com using Amazon GC's that I have been saving from selling off a majority of my blu-ray collection. Thank you all for your help and advice. I am using this unit for a medium sized bedroom, so the Onkyo 876 was out of the question (too much power!)

From another member here, I heard that the newer models of the Onkyo 806 is being shipped from Amazon without the blue-dot problem.. GOOD!

I realize I could have easily gone with the Onkyo 706 or even the 706 because I probably wouldn't be pushing this unit or my speakers past any crazy levels... but hey... this should keep me from upgrading for a few years.

I had my eye on the Pioneer Elite VXS-03 but the vendor on Amazon raised his price for $799.99 to $995.99. Reeeeeeeeeeeediculous if you ask me.
