I mean HD Cable, I am sorry. But its connected by red, green, blue wires. I then switched them out for my HDMI that my PS3 is used for and it STILL did not look any better. I dont understand how my PS3 looks crystal clear but my TV does not

not everything on HD channels is broadcast in HD...turn it to discovery hd theater, everything on that channel is 1080i HD content. Compression of the feed will degrade picture quality as well though, thats why cable/ sat will never look as good as blu! still need to calibrate the tv properly though

Picture Settings
* Warm * Contrast : 90 * Backlight : 20 * DynaLight : Off * Brightness : 53 * Color : 50 * Tint : +17 * Sharpness : 40 give those a try then adjust to suit your eye! i would rec hd basics on blu though! you can get it for $10 then you can calibrate your set properly. hopefully these will give you a good starting point |

well it looks better, so I am guessing its just the channel. Because HD Theater channel looks great, but my ESPN's are not so hot
Which is the only reason why I got it And it looks good on the ESPN channels when the camera is UP CLOSE, but when the camera is far away thats when it looks not so hot. Last edited by Crim122; 11-14-2008 at 10:50 PM. |

Yeah I am starting to understand that, because ESPN is presented in 720p and looks good up close but not so hot far away, but TNT is 1080i looks damn good.
