Default No Wall-E Blu's at my Best Buy or Wal-Mart

So I went to my local Best Buy (2 of them actually) and my local Wal-Mart and neither had received shipments of Wall-E on Blu-ray! There were like TONS of people wanting them, and they were so pissed off. They received the standing box displays with all the Blu slots empty stating to check the stores electronic department. I was aggravated, but got one of the ten copies Target had. I hope this does not continue throughout the holidays otherwise it is not giving Blu-ray a fair chance. I mean, come on, Best Buy and Wal-Mart are HUGE places for people to buy their movies. And I went when they opened, I'd hate to be working there throughout the day and having people bother me and as me and then be all pissed off.

if you don't mind me asking, where do you live? maybe your best buys and walmart are on the lower priority of getting the latest based on your location...

There were plenty of them at my local Best Buy. Have no idea about Wal-mart though.

I pretty much stopped buying Blu rays at stores. I get everything from Amazon. Why would I want to waste my time, gas and wear and tear on my car searching stores for movies? When I did buy at the stores I noticed the same thing. Walmarts in my area not having movies on release dates, employees telling me"check back in a few days", Other places like Best Buy, CC or Target saying "we only got a few copies and they're sold out. I'm like are you kidding me? So I stick with Amazon. Great prices and no BS.

I don't think Netflix got them either. They completely skipped this one in my queue on Monday.

I'm sure it wasn't being unlucky. I had three open slots on Monday. They flat out didn't get it I bet!

Stores best check on their shipping procedures. Not getting a NEW title on release day is ridiculous and not good CS.

Ditto for my local Best Buy and Walmart. They had DVD copies but no Blu's. I was able to snag a 2-Disc Wall-E Blu at Circuit City but they did not receive any of the 3-Disc Blu version in their shipment.

What is even worse is that Walmart.com doesn't have Hellboy 2 in stock.

Like I said earlier, why would you want to drive all over the place looking for a Bluray when you can just order it from Amazon? The money you are wasting on gas could be saved and you have it delivered to your door. It's the best way to go. I don't understand why some would rather drive all over searching. What's the point?

I buy mine at bookstores. I know it sometimes costs a little more, but I like shopping for books at the same time. Anybody else buy at Barnes & Noble or Borders?

Cool Walmart is slacking.

Just went on lunch. The Walmart here in NW Indiana did not get the Wall E Blu-Ray movies in yet. They only had the standard. Had to go to Target and they only had 2 copies of the 2 disc set left. They had sold out of the 3 disc set already today!

Sorry, i should rephrase what I said. Most of my Blu-Rays have come from Amazon, not BB. Only recently started buying from BB because I go past it alot on my way to College and whenever I know there's a new blu-ray release I just pop in and get it. Older blu-ray releases I just get from Amazon.

But I agree Amazon is definitely the best way to go.
